What I am loving about these photos is the fact that, unless you had told me, I might not have known WHAT they were. They could be smaller or larger than you described and that, to me, is exciting, because I get to just look at then as textures or shapes (or color). Leslie...doesn't that sound familiar?

aren't the leaves spectacular at the moment.. to wak through and kick them about, the wear a scarf and feel the sun's warmth.

I cant believe the beauty of the trees at Kinglake that were burnt by the fires.
Fantastic photography Jo. Thanks for sharing your Sydney trip through your artistic eye.

The trees speak to me especially the misty treescape in black and white. Jo, is that the vessel you mentioned ? It is stunning! I would love to know it's history so I clicked on it and ended up at my blog :-)
Thanks Jo.

Fantastic photos, Jo! Love the 3rd!

Thanks all, for your great comments...I had a fantastic time in Sydney with my camera!
The 3rd image is a colour image!!! not a black & white one. Quite surreal really...
Robyn, the vessel is a Zulu pot...highly polished rounded bottom on it, it sits on a beaded pot ring...very old, very fragile. Stunning raised clay work on it...

hi Jo, that third image of the trees is crazy beautiful. sad that they have been burnt. how strong and at peace they still stand. i would love to have that photo covering the whole side of a room. how incredible would that be.

interesting that your photos share similar color tones of your prints but with more straight lines. i am very curious to see your 'mess-up' print artist books!

Jo, the pot is a most unusual example of zulu clay work. Really beautiful! Love your banner!
